This roofing system uses a custom cut piece of specially developed rubber (EPDM) which is glued to the decking and sealed with edger strips reducing the risk of leaks.
Firestone give a 20 year manufacturer’s guarantee on roofs installed using their system by qualified approved fitters.
GRP Fibreglass Flat Roofing
The GRP roofing system is the best solution to any flat roofing problem you may have with your property in Manchester. Unlike most flat roofing products GRP is extremely hard wearing, none corrosive and also as the potential to outlast the structure it's designed to protect.
GRP comes with a 20 year manufacturers guarantee but with the potential to last a lot longer.
GRP is a fibre glass system, more commonly used in boat building or the car body repair industry but now being used as a flat roofing product and very successfully, as more and more people are realising the long term benefits of this system.

Dry Verge Roofing Systems
As well as traditional roofing methods we can offer “dry” ridge, hip, valley or verge systems of roofing.
These methods involve bolting the ridge or hip tile onto the roof as apposed to bedding them in the normal sand cement mortar, thus creating a much more secure roof which gives a higher tolerance to more extreme weather conditions.
These systems are particularly effective on coastal regions and more exposed areas. The lack of bedding materials means that these systems can be installed in all weathers, are around 33% quicker to install and should last approximately 30 years.

Leadwork and Flashing
We work with both sandcast and milled lead sheet and can repair or lay, any size of lead roof.
Lead sheet is one of the oldest and most durable of all roofing materials and if laid correctly can last for many hundreds of years. Modern milled lead sheet is made to the specification as set out in British Standard 1178. In recent years, lead sheet made by the continuously cast method is the main method of production.
As a general rule, if lead roofing, cladding or flashings are in relatively good condition i.e. just minor splits, appropriate repairs are the solution. However, more serious and extensive damage, may require the renewal of the lead work in total.
