UPVC soffits and fascias are commonly used in the Stockport as a cost-effective and low-maintenance alternative to traditional timber soffits and fascias.

First we removed all rotten fascias and soffits from full perimetre of bungalow premises. We then applied new none rot felt to 1st course. New 300mm soffits and 18mm Fascia boards were fixed to all areas.

Verge tiles were stripped out and new felt fixed to all sides. New end batons fixed to allow the fixture of verges. Continuous dry verges applied with new centre ridge cap. All ties were the replaced, and end ridges fixed.

New Gutters were then fixed to correct level to running out-lets. New offsets and downpipes were then fixed. Last of all remove all waste from property to finish.

The installation process involves the removal of the existing timber soffits and fascias, and the installation of UPVC replacements. Here are the general steps involved in the installation process:

  1. Survey and preparation: The installation team will carry out a survey of the existing soffits and fascias to determine the extent of the work required. They will also prepare the site by ensuring that there is adequate access to the roofline, and that any obstructions are removed.

  2. Removal of the old soffits and fascias: The installation team will remove the existing timber soffits and fascias, taking care not to damage the underlying roof structure.

  3. Installation of the UPVC soffits and fascias: The installation team will cut the UPVC panels to size, and fix them in place using nails or screws. They will also install any necessary vents to ensure proper ventilation of the roof space.

  4. Finishing touches: Once the UPVC panels are in place, the installation team will add the necessary finishing touches, such as guttering and downpipes, to ensure that the roofline is fully functional.

  5. Clean-up: Finally, the installation team will clean up the site and remove any debris or waste materials.

It is important to note that the installation process may vary depending on the specific requirements of the job. It is recommended to consult with a professional installer to ensure that the installation is carried out safely and effectively.

Sam Livesey Stockport

One of our friend's had recently had an extension with AH Building Contractor and recommended them to us. It was the best recommendation we have ever had. AH Building Contractors built a two storey rear extension which was formed into a dining room and bedroom and the results were fantastic.

Mr Crowley Stockport

We called AH Building Contractor as we wanted to create extra living space, but we were unsure which way to proceed.  The advice and professional design options they gave us was unbelievable.  We would never have thought we could create so much space and blend it so well with the existing house.  We can't wait for the dinner guests to ask 'how did you do this'  'Did you use professional interior designers' - We certainly did they are AH Building Contractor of Manchester!
